Duivelswandelstok met grote bloempluimen. Aralia kan wel worteluitlopers maken, zeker als je in de wortels spit.. De hoogte na 10 jaar is 4 m. De bloemkleur is wit. Deze plant is zeer winterhard. De bloeiperiode is juni - juli.
