Stewartia rostrata

Kleine boom, mooie stam en enkele camellia-achtige bloemen. Misschien wel een van de allermooiste kleine bomen. De herfstkleur van de Stewartia rostrata kan fantastisch oranje zijn. Geef Stewartia wel humusrijke grond en een niet overdreven zonnige standplaats.. De hoogte na 10 jaar is 250 cm. De bloemkleur is wit. Deze plant is goed winterhard. De bloeiperiode is mei - juni.
