Acer palmatums
The new stock Acer palmatum cultivars for this year is much better grown than the laste few years. They look absolutely great. The consequence is that the catalogue now reflects the better quality we are able to supply, the size 'Pot' which was used to price the poorer grown plants (which was the majority) is phased out and replaced by the size 'Pot 3 litres' and the prices now reflect the much better plants we offer.

Internet payments
Some time ago the Internet-payments provider Paypal made cahnges in the way the information was presented to the users after having started the payment from (for instance) our site. In many cases the pages were presented in the wrong language (Dutch in stead of English is a language change that happened frequently). After quite some searching we succeeded in changing the script in such a way that these unwanted language changes do not occur anymore.

Plant names
A new page has been added to the site, of which we expect we do you a favor: a list of first names that also occur in plant names. Is your name also a plant? If so, you will want it in your garden of course! See the namelist to find out if you too can be planted in your garden!

New catalogue
The new catalogue has just been released. More than 10500 different garden plants are listed in the over 500 pages. There are no pictures in the printed catalogue, where the on-line version has almost 20000! Because of the high production costs of the printed catalogue we have to ask for a payment of € 15.00 for it. You can request the catalogue at this page.

Planting advice
We have a new service for you: the advising for how and what to plant and where in your garden. In the recent past we have participated in larger projects such as the new Japanese Garden in the world famous Keukenhof in Lisse, a similar project in the old Clingendael Japanese Garden, but also several private gardens. You can also benefit from this by going to this page and ask.

A GREAT HONOUR
Today our oldest partner, D.M. van Gelderen, has been awarded one of the highest ranking awards that can be given by Her Majesty Queen Beatrix, namely Officer in the Order of Oranje Nassau. This in recognition for his work for the great benefit of the plant world in advancing knowledge of plants, creating several books for the benefit of the Royal Boskoop Horticultural Society and more. Congratulations!
